Christmas came early for Cebuanos and Davaoeños as the cast of the Metro Manila Film Festival entry “My Bebe Love: #KiligPaMore” visited the region for the movie’s promo tour.

The romantic comedy stars Vic Sotto and Ai-Ai Delas Alas, together with Alden Richards and Maine “Yaya Dub” Mendoza.

“My Bebe Love” is AlDub’s first-ever film together, following the unprecedented success of the phenomenal love team in Eat Bulaga’s Kalyeserye.

As early as now, the movie is being predicted to be a smash hit, with the tandem of the Box Office King and the Comedy Queen leading the story about Vito (Vic) and Cora (Ai-Ai)—business rivals who will find the conflict between them brewing further as Anna (Maine) and Dondi (Alden) become romantically involved. Anna is the daughter of Vito while Dondi is Cora’s nephew.

Both Vic and Ai-Ai have ruled the box office through various films they have previously starred in. AlDub, on the other hand, has taken the world by storm with the love team becoming a regular trending topic on social media.

Just over the weekend, AlDub dominated Twitterverse once more as the phenomenal love team guested on various Kapuso shows. The #AlDubonSPS trended in the Philippines and worldwide after Maine guested for the first time on Sunday Pinasaya, where in Alden is one of the hosts. AlDub’s much-awaited interview with well-respected broadcast journalist Jessica Soho aired after Vampire ang Daddy Ko. The hashtag #KMJSAlDubYou dominated social media. It topped the Philippines and worldwide trends as well. The Kapuso pair was also featured on GMA News TV’s Reel Time that night with the hashtag #AdubonReelTime becoming one of the trending topics on Twitter as well.

“My Bebe Love” is written by Bibeth Orteza and Jose Javier Reyes. Directed by Reyes, as well, the film is produced by OctoArts Films, M-Zet TV, APT Entertainment, GMA Films, and MEDA Production. (30)
